Healing Approach

Healing begins with a simple willingness to explore what’s going on inside you. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re seeking or have perfectly formed intentions—your curiosity and openness are enough to start.

I offer shamanic healing and sound-based practices that support you on physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels. These are gentle, grounded approaches rooted in ancient traditions and adapted for the needs of modern life.

Shamanic Healing

Shamanic work invites support from compassionate helping spirits to bring insight, balance, and restoration. Together, we look at what feels out of alignment—whether emotional heaviness, energetic stagnation, old patterns, or a sense of disconnect—and work to bring you back into harmony.

Sound Healing

Sound is a powerful tool for clearing and rebalancing the energy body. Using instruments such as drums, rattles, tuning forks, gongs, and singing bowls, we encourage stagnant or blocked energy to release so your system can find ease and flow again. Many clients experience deep relaxation, clarity, and a renewed sense of presence.

Guidance Through Tarot or Oracle

When helpful, I incorporate Tarot or Oracle cards into a session. These can offer gentle guidance, highlight unconscious patterns, and support our understanding of where your energy and attention are most needed.

My Story

I believe we all carry the ability to heal within us—but with the pace of modern life, it’s not always easy to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Sometimes we simply need a gentle hand or a safe space to help us return to our centre.

I grew up between two cultures, I am of Egyptian and Irish descent, and this blend has shaped the heart of my practice.

 

Moving between different ways of ancestral traditions, seeing, ritual, living, and understanding the world taught me early on that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, intuitive, and deeply connected to our roots.

For the past 14 years, London has been my home—specifically the lively, diverse fabric of South West London. I feel incredibly privileged to live, grow, and learn in a city where so many cultures, beliefs, and perspectives meet. This diversity continues to influence how I hold space: with openness, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story.

I was initiated into shamanic practices over six years ago, and since then I’ve been dedicated to creating supportive, grounded spaces where clients can release what no longer serves them and reconnect with what does. Over time, I’ve also fallen in love with the depth and clarity that sound healing brings. I now integrate instruments such as drums, rattles, tuning forks, and singing bowls into my work to help ease the mind, restore the body, and realign the energy system. 

Alongside one-to-one sessions, I hold in-person sound baths and ceremonial gatherings at Oca London in Bermondsey, as well as online community events that honour the full moon and new moon. These gatherings offer a chance to pause, reflect, and connect—with yourself, with others, and with the cycles that quietly guide us.

It would be a pleasure to support you on your healing journey and to witness you stepping into your full strength, in your own time and in your own way.

Oca Yoga Brunch

Our first event was so popular that we were excited to schedule our first brunch in 2026.

 

Join us on 1 Feb 2026 at Oca London in Bermondsey @ 12:00 until 15:30 ~ £75

Imbolc is the Celtic festival of returning light — a moment between winter’s stillness and spring’s first breath.

 

We’ll begin with a nourishing yoga practice led by Bella, warming the body from the inside out. Then melt into deep rest with Nancy’s soundbath, letting the vibrations clear space for new beginnings.

 

To close, we gather around the table for Gabi’s plant-based brunch seasonal, earthy, cooked with love. A morning to reconnect, soften and welcome the first whispers of the new year.

Soundbath

Group sessions

Weekly Soundbaths every Sunday @ 19:00 a perfect way to end your week and prepare you for the week ahead. Held at Oca London, a hidden sanctuary in Bermondsey.

Also at Oca in collaboration with the amazing Gabi we hold Cacao Ceremonies, Women's Circles, and Moon Ceremonies.

Nancy Zein is not a licensed mental health professional and sessions are intended to support your personal growth and well-being but are not a substitute for professional mental health care.

Chakra & Energy Balance ~ 45 min · £55

This gentle, holistic session focuses on bringing your seven main energy centres back into balance. When our chakras are aligned and flowing freely, we often feel more grounded, clear, and connected—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

During this 45-minute session, we work together to release stagnant energy, encourage harmony within the body, and support a sense of calm and inner alignment. It’s a simple yet powerful way to realign with yourself, especially during busy or overwhelming periods.

Online appointments are available, so you can receive this work from the comfort of your own space.

Sound Healing Session ~ 75 min · £85

This one-to-one session offers a deeply restorative, full-body meditative experience.

 

You simply lie down, relax, and allow the resonant sounds of the instruments to gently wash over you.

Using a combination of shamanic drum, rattles, singing bowls, tuning forks, and gong (played intuitively and not all at once), the vibrations help soften tension, clear stagnant energy, and support a sense of calm and inner clarity.

Sound healing can be especially helpful if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of time to unwind and reconnect with yourself.

 

Each session is tailored to what your body and energy need on the day.

Shamanic healing is one of the oldest spiritual practices in the world, offering deep support for those seeking clarity, release, or a renewed sense of connection. This extended session gives us the space to explore what may be sitting beneath the surface—whether emotional heaviness, energetic blockages, recurring patterns, or ancestral influences that you may have inherited.

Through intuitive shamanic methods and compassionate guidance, we work gently to clear what no longer serves you and invite balance back into your system. Each session is unique and unfolds according to your needs on the day, always held within a safe and grounded environment.

This is a powerful option if you’re looking for deeper work, more spaciousness, or support with long-standing challenges.

End of Year Reflections: Finding Compassion for Ourselves

As the end of the year approaches, and with the Winter Solstice just around the corner, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting—not just on the past month, but on the past 12 months as a whole. Like many of us, this time of year feels like an opportunity to take a step back and assess what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what I can learn from it all.

One thing I noticed in my reflections was how self-critical I can be. There were moments when I caught myself thinking about things I could’ve done better, tasks I put off, or times when I felt like I could’ve been more productive. It’s easy to slip into that “I should’ve done more” mindset. But then, something shifted. I realized that the tone I was using with myself had changed. There was more compassion there, more kindness. And that made me pause.

Sure, there were days when I could’ve pushed harder, days where I let procrastination win. There were times I felt emotionally drained and labeled those moments as lazy or unproductive. But as I reflect on the bigger picture, I realize that those days of rest aren’t a sign of weakness—they’re part of the process. We all know when it’s time to push ourselves, but I’m coming to understand that rest is just as important, and it should be unconditional. There’s no need to guilt-trip ourselves for taking a break.

Looking back at the year, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in treating myself with more understanding. I’ve learned to embrace the ebb and flow of energy, knowing when to hustle and when to give myself permission to slow down without judgment.

So, as we wrap up this year and move into the next, I’m making a pact with myself: To be kinder, more patient, and to remember that rest isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. Here's to a new year of balance, self-compassion, and giving ourselves the grace to just be.
